Motorola Edge 50 Pro:The Real Pro?

Motorola is going to launch its new smartphone that is the edge 50 pro soon in the market.

Motorola is known for providing  a stock android experience with no bloat-wares which many consumers like to have a bloatware free phone. Also it builds the trust among people as it knows its target audience. 

It listens to consumers' reviews and try to solve the problems in their next launch, this is what this company is doing since last 1-1.5 years which is highly appreciated by consumers.

Talking about the edge 50 pro , it obviously directly competes with its rival brands because of the aggressive pricing they are offering.

Design

Motorola is known for providing  unique design smartphones and Edge 50 Pro is no different. It comes with a vegan leather design with unique color tones. The phone feels rugged to hold and it is slim as well which makes this device comfortable to use.

It feels smooth and natural to touch, It has been handcrafted in Italy.

The frame is of metal which makes this device strong and durable to use for longer period of time.

The colors they provide are Black Beauty, Luxe Lavender and Moonlight Pearl.

My personal favorite is luxe lavender and I'm sure most of the people will like the same color as it provides a unique feel to the smartphone and the color looks naturally beautiful especially in day.

So definitely ,many people will consider using this phone without cover.

Unboxing

The box contains handset, documentation, sim ejector tool, case, USB type c-c cable.
It comes with 68W charger in the box for base variant and 125W charger in the box for higher variant.

Software

The device comes with snapdragon 7-Gen 3 processor which is an octa core processor based on 4nm architecture having clock-speeds reaching up to 2.3GHz. It will give a truly powerful performance to the users.

Blending this chipset with Motorola's Hello UI was a smart move. It provides a smooth, lag-free experience to its users and definitely users are going to like this combination.

It comes with two variants that are 8GB RAM,256GB storage and 12GB RAM,256GB storage. The RAM type is LPDDR4X and storage is UFS 2.2.

The combination of this RAM and storage is tried and tested in many smartphones ,but here Motorola's Hello UI will change the game as it truly stands out in terms of user experience.

Camera

It comes with a really improved camera performance, probably one of the best camera provided by the company.

It has a triple rear camera setup, 50MP primary+13MP ultrawide and macro+10MP telephoto.

The rear camera does o good job as the photos produced have accurate colors. Skin tones are also close-to-natural. The photo enhancement engine works well and provides good photos. It also has various added features to give a proper camera experience.

The front camera is 50MP shooter with autofocus which gives good photos.

The most liked feature about front camera I like is the portrait mode, it gives clear shots with near-to-perfect edge detection.

Battery

The battery comes with 4500 which is a decent battery capacity size. It would last upto 0.5-1 day on normal usage at a single charge.

The charging speed is one of the fastest which any smartphone brand can provide. 

It charges the phone the phone from 0-100 under 25 minutes, which is insanely fast.

For 125W charging , you have to manually on the turbo mode from settings.

Display

Talking about the display, it comes with a large display size of 6.7" pOLED 3D curved display. It has 144 Hz refresh rate which will provide an ultra-fast scrolling experience to users.

It is a 1.5K display which provides an absolute viewing experience as the color tones look real and the colors look vivid. This display is validated by 'Pantone' which makes it stand out in the competition. The colors are 'Pantone' validated.

 

Along with great display , it also has dual stereo speakers which is 'Dolby Atmos' and also a Spatial sound provided by Motorola which altogether will give you the perfect multimedia experience.

Verdict

I am impressed with the multimedia , they have done a good job in this department.

And also, the new Hello UI backed by AI, will give you the real experience you want.

It will handle every task you give without any lags. 

Also, Motorola has nearly improved its camera. I mean you will get satisfactory results with improved enhancement, all thanks to Moto AI,  which will do a decent job at this price range. 

On paper, it only lacks in the storage department as they have given UFS 2.2.At this price range, they should give UFS 3.1. But with that integration of Hello UI, you will not feel that much while doing your daily tasks. And also there is still issues with updates, the provide very late, so if they fix these issues I think they can beat any brand.

Talking about the pricing, it comes with tow variants, that are, 8GB RAM,256 GB storage at Rs.31,999 and 12GB RAM,256 GB RAM at Rs.35,999.With introductory offers you can get base variant at Rs.27,999 and the higher variant at Rs.31,999.

So finally, I would say if you want to experience that stock android along with clean UI and decent camera performance, at this price range you can look forward buying this device.
